The story
A new name and identity for a specialist, web-based data streamline processor. The new name is a contraction of the old "Exchange IT", whilst still emphasising the "IT" aspect of the name.
The picture
The logo is based on a traditional Exit sign – but updated with a Keith Haring style running man. This gave the company a recognizable brand identity which became a really important asset in a sector that is notoriously visually dry. The company was sold to MDA in 2006.
“The logo has real personality, and it set us apart in what is a very dry, technical sector,” said former CEO Simon Henson, “I believe that the recognition the brand identity created was an important part of the sale price we achieved when we sold the business.”
